Terms and Conditions
At District Polanco by Lumina, we do not permit:
- Smoking of any kind (including on balconies or terraces), including, but not limited to, nicotine, tobacco products, and/or cannabis-derived substances (including vaping and e-cigarettes); violation of this rule will result in a fine of $250 USD plus the cost of cleaning and deodorizing the unit.
- Parties or events.
- Unreasonable numbers of guests, including those exceeding the legal maximum allowed. The number of overnight guests may not exceed the maximum allowed for the unit, as posted on the website.
- Excessive noise.
- Noise audible outside the unit after 9 PM local time.
- Disturbing neighbors or invading their privacy or security.
- Illegal substances or activities (e.g., involving drugs, internet activities, or otherwise, including illegal downloads or file sharing, whether using our device or internet connection, your own, or a third party’s).
- Production of pornography or prostitution.
- Dangerous or hazardous items (e.g., those that could increase the risk of fire or explosion, such as candles or lighters).
- Firearms and other weapons (except those legitimately carried by law enforcement officers or authorized security guards, whether on or off duty).
- Placing obstructions, signage, trash, food, or unattended personal items outside District Polanco.
- Creating unsanitary conditions (e.g., generating excessive waste or offensive odors, or attracting pests).
- Making any changes, modifications, alterations, or additions of any kind to District Polanco or its contents (including moving furniture).
- Soliciting or loitering around the space or building.
- Commercial photography, filming, or videography (without express written consent).
- Using the unit for any purpose other than personal accommodation.
Additional Terms and Conditions:
- Guests. You may allow guests to occupy the unit overnight only to the extent we authorize in writing and must accompany and supervise such guests at all times. If you exceed any applicable authorized maximum number of overnight guests, you will be charged additional fees of up to 100% of your effective daily rate per unauthorized guest, and we may revoke or terminate your license to occupy the unit immediately. You also acknowledge and agree that we may ask you and/or your day or overnight guests to provide documentation verifying the identity of your guests, such as a passport and other information.
- Pets. We do not allow pets. Violating our pet policy will result in a fine of $100 USD, plus the cost of a deep cleaning of District Polanco by Lumina and/or repair of damage to the unit. We encourage individuals traveling with service animals to contact us prior to their stay.
- Supplies. We provide an initial supply of toiletries and household consumables.
- Artículos para el hogar. También proporcionamos ropa de cama y utensilios de cocina para su uso durante su estancia. Cualquier artículo que se elimine de la unidad se le cobrará de acuerdo con los Términos de District Polanco.
- Household Items. We also provide bedding and kitchen utensils for your use during your stay. Any items removed from the unit will be charged to you in accordance with the Terms of District Polanco.
- Services. Only those services described in your reservation confirmation email are available to you. Follow the instructions provided or those posted at the property. Use of any service is at your own risk. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult when using any service or other common areas.
- Safety and Security. You are responsible for your own safety and that of your guests. Read, listen to, and comply with all fire, health, and safety rules and regulations provided to you; inform us of any condition at, on, or around District Polanco that you believe may pose a fire, health, or safety risk to you or your guests, and report any inappropriate behavior you or your guests observe in or near the building (e.g., potential loiterers or illegal occupants) and lock all windows and doors before leaving the unit. If you have a medical or other emergency, or believe you are a victim or witness of a crime, contact the nearest hospital and/or local police.
- Damage Report for a Unit. You must notify us in writing of any damage to the unit or its contents during your stay, even if you believe the damage is minimal or normal wear and tear, or if you do not think the damage is your fault. If you do not notify us of such damage, you will be responsible for the costs in accordance with the Terms of District Polanco.
- Other Instructions. In connection with your stay at District Polanco, we may provide you with other written instructions applicable to your stay. These written instructions are "Additional Terms" as defined in the Terms of District Polanco. Follow those instructions, ensure that your guests follow them as well, and contact us if you have any questions.
We remind you that you are solely responsible for ensuring that you and your guests are aware of and comply with District Polanco's Terms of Service and these District Polanco Rules, including keeping the unit clean and orderly and in the same condition you found it. We hope you enjoy your stay!
